Prime Minister of New Zealand
The New Zealand Head of Government is the Prime Minister who is elected every 4 years by popular vote across the entire country. National's Stephanie Kennedy is the current Prime Minister of New Zealand and was elected in the 2036 Election.
Cabinet of New Zealand
The Cabinet of New Zealand is made up of 20 members of the legislature, either from the Senate or the House. The members are each given specific portfolios for which they are responsible. Cabinet members remain full voting members of the House or Senate and are held to account by their respective chamber. Each portfolio has an Assistant Minister in the other chamber who represents the Minister.
New Zealand House of Representatives
The New Zealand House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the New Zealand legislature. The House is composed of representatives from each of the countries 178 districts. Each district has approximately 12,000 electors however this number varies between districts. All districts in the House of Representative's are elected ever 2 years. The current New Zealand House of Representatives was elected in the 2036 Congressional Elections.
New Zealand Senate
The New Zealand Senate is the upper chamber of the New Zealand legislature. The senate is composed of two Senators from each of the 25 Senate Districts, which are made up of either 8 or 9 Congressional Districts. Senators are elected to 6 year terms. The current New Zealand Senate was elected in the 2032, 2034 and 2036 New Zealand Elections.
Regional Governors
All regions of New Zealand also have a Regional Council. Each has a Governor that manages local business. The regions are as follows.

2038 Elections
The 2038 Elections will take place on the 13th of November 2038. These will be the 2038 Senate Election for 13 Class 2 Senate seats and the 2038 House of Representatives Election.
The election will take place under new Congressional boundaries created by the Redistricting Commission as a result of the 2037 census.
Legislation
To become law, a bill must be passed in both the House of Representatives and Senate before receiving the consent of the Prime Minister or their delegate - usually the cabinet minister with responsibility for the Bill.
